Robert is officially done with his second semester of seminary! Woo Hoo! And he finished Hebrew which was pretty daunting. He will be taking two J terms (one week each, eight hours a day) this summer and working full time with a friend of his that is a contractor. He is still working out three times a week and reaping great benefits from it. Lots of muscles! ; ) With working out and studying for finals and writing papers it put him out of the house usually 6 days a week from 5am-6pm, give or take an hour here or there. So the day after his last final he gave me a "day off". So I went to pilates and jogging at the seminary. And then sat in their cafe and read my Bible and Openness Unhindered by Rosaria Butterfield Champagne (the sort-of sequel to Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert, both of which I can not recommend more highly!) Then I went home to feed Bug. Next I went to Sweet Frog for my very own FroYo, and didn't have to share it with anyone or get stared at while I enjoyed it! They had free wifi so I worked for an hour on our next unit study on Government and elections. Then I read some of Prodigal God by Tim Keller (another I can't recommend higher!). Their music was a little too loud for such a heavy book so I went to the library instead but as soon as I got there Robert texted to say that Bug needed me. So off I went to home again to feed him and lay him down for nap. Lastly I drove to Louisville to meet with a friend from church for some great thai food and much needed adult conversation! Her house was really close to the restaurant so we walked but after we ate it was raining, but we figured, oh well! And walked home in the rain. It was fun. So that is my latest news. A whole day to myself. Everything else is pretty normal here. Hulk is talking more. Bug is trying to crawl, but the hardwood floors are slippery and thwart his efforts. Wild Man's behavior has gotten so much better! He shocks Robert and I often. The kids watched a Kid's Baking competition on Netflix and now they want to have one of their own, the girls do anyway. So I thought it over and told them they could make cake pops (after watching a 7 part tutorial online) and we will grade them and announce a winner. So here in a couple weeks (I'm giving them to time to research, prepare, and buy ingredients) I will have pictures of that!
