So last week my sweet, wonderful friend Andrea called me to tell me that she was in labor! After crying because I wasn't there to experience the miracle of her first homebirth and second baby being born. I got over it and praised God for Baby Noah's timing, for if it had been any other week I wouldn't have been able to buy a ticket and come to see him the weekend after he was born!! I bought a ticket the day Noah was born and started planning for our weekend away. The girls were stoked to get a Daddy weekend! They went to the movies and Wal-Mart and out to eat! Cal and I left for Atlanta to catch our flight on Friday around noon. The flight there was so busy and I was stressed trying to make sure that I didn't forget anything, that I didn't take pictures. We got to Branson and my mom and my sister picked me up from the airport. We were so happy to see everyone, because it had been two months! It was a very nice visit! Even though mom's car broke down about five minutes from Andrea's, Darrin, her amazing husband came and got us! And I got to meet precious baby Noah and hear all about his peaceful, Christ centered birth! I praise God that Andrea got this labor and birth after her rocky hospital birth with Iylona! And then Saturday evening, Laurie drove me and mom (Dad had since brought the broken car back to Arkansas) down to Pea Ridge, AR. The next morning we went to church and then out to eat at Acambaro's, very yummy, and great family and friends time! And then, on the way home, Cal and I had a whole row to ourselves on the plane! So I had the presence of mind to get some shots. So much fun was had! The drive back from Atlanta to home was not fun to say the least. I was so tired and Cal cried most of the way (he's been teething for about a week, actually pushed a tooth up on the plane). I stopped to get gas and squirted gas ALL over my jeans some how (enter, I was tired excuse). I honestly don't remember a ton about the drive except it was miserable. And my jeans still smell like gasoline. ; P
