Ohhh, what to share, what to share. The four oldest kids started tennis lessons this week at the seminary. It is a whole Monday morning thing. Tender's age group is the first hour at 9am, then Wild Man's age group at 10, and finally The Boy and Hurricane at 11. Which means we are taking all our school work up there and working on it during the hours that they don't have their lessons. This week Hulk was able to stay home with Robert so I only had Lucius with me. We will be on the prowl for used tennis rackets and tennis balls now (if any of your have some hiding out in your garage or shed I will gladly pay shipping for you to send them to us!) Also, our driveway is so big in the back that I could buy a tennis net and set it up and they could play back there. I'm hoping this helps the girls with staying active and helps the boys with behavior because of having an athletic outlet. The boys are still doing 25 minute workouts of a morning too.
Lucius is settling into a pretty predictable routine. Nothing concrete but helpful nonetheless. I'm loving having energy for, well, everything really. Not being pregnant for the first time in so long and passing that post pregnancy phase of exhaustion. I still get to feeling a little crazy because I can go weeks without being by myself for a few minutes but truly, I'm blessed. Still have 15 pounds to lose to get my normal weight. Lucius doesn't seem to be as big as the other boys. He's chubby and heavy but not as chubby as the others, I don't think. He's usually only waking once or twice a night (from 8pm-7am) so I'm getting pretty good sleep most of the time. Hulk is into everything!! He runs as fast as his little legs will take him and reaches anything he's able. He has broken two large casserole dishes (none of the other kids did that). He loves to try and help in the kitchen. He's so cute it's painful! Tender and I are devising how to open an etsy shop to sell some crocheted bracelets she makes, along with anything else we can make. Just to make some extra money. Wild Man is just wild. We tried a week of no sugar for him (hidden sugars too, like in his almond milk and dried cranberries) to see if it would help. He doesn't sleep well either. Some nights it takes him an hour or so to fall asleep and then he wakes in the middle of the night to come get us at least once almost every night. His behavior is very difficult. I am struggling greatly with patience and endurance. While he is a very difficult child he is also hilarious and fun when he isn't blatantly disobeying. So it's like, no middle ground where he's boring. : ) He just has to be with Robert or I at all times because he gets into big trouble otherwise. If I need a shower, he has to sit outside the door. If I need to put the baby to sleep, he has to sit by my rocking chair. Anyway, any prayer concerning that is a blessing.

So good to hear from you. The kids are growing so fast. I think there is always one kid that is more wilful than the others. Anyway we love you all so much. Can't wait

You so inspire me! My house looks the same and I too also have one who can be a challenge. I am thankful for your honesty instead of only the face of perfection. I can't tell you how much better it feels to know this is "normal!". Blessings and prayers for creativity on how to handle the challenges.
